{"text":"Introduction \nThis report is based on one office interview with Mr Thompson at the above address. \nReference has been made to substantial records held by this Department and to Ms Marion \nCorcoran, Social Worker, Children and Families Team. The writer has also consulted Mr \nNeil Sutherland, Community Service Officer. \nMr Thompson did not report any specific outstanding Court matters, bul it would appear there \nare several yet to come to trial. SCRO information was not made available to the writer in \nthis case. Mr Thompson is currently subject to a supervision requirement via the children\u2019s \nhearing system, this being reviewed on 30 January this year. He is also subject to a deferred \nsentence in Glasgow Sheriff Court on RTA offences committed last summer. Sentence was \ninttially deferred by Sheriff Rae for 3 months from 8 November last year, and was \nsubsequently deferred again until 8 June, for good behaviour and progress. \nCurrent Circumstances \nMr Thompson is currently residing on a temporary basis in Bed and Breakfast \naccommeodation at the above address. He has resided here for about 6 weeks, having been \nmoved from a more distant establishment afler he broke his ankle on 7 January this year. Mr \nThompson has lived in Bed and Breakfast establishments since late September 2000 while \nefforts continue to find him a suitable placement in supported accommodation. It is \nunderstood he has interviews for two such projects later this week. \nMr Thompson was officially accommodated in Kenmure St Mary\u2019s School until 31 July last \nyear. At this point he moved to supported accommodation in Hillhead, Glasgow. This \nplacement broke down due to his unsatisfactory behaviour on 5 September last year. He \nstayed with his mother then his stepfather, but was unable to sustain these arrangements. \nHis mother continues to express interest and concern about his behaviour and how his needs \nare to be met. The writer understands that she is strongly of the opinion that, at this stage, Mr \nThompson should be held responsible for his behaviour and punished accordingly. \nFamily Background \nMr Thompson's mother hails from South Lanarkshire and his father D from \nGreece. They were living in Lesmahagow when Mr Thompson was born in Bellshill, the only \nchild of this union. The family went to live in Greece the following year, but the marriage \nbroke down in 1986 and GEEEEEEENED rctumed to Scotland with her son. She moved to \nlive in Crow Road, Glasgow in 1987, staying here for 4 years. By this time she had met@an \nG - \u00a2 after they married in 1991, they moved to London. Three boys were \nsubsequently born:qilEEND), GEEEEND -G Mr Thompson is said to have \nregarded his stepfather as his real father. GED appears to have suffered some form \no D 2round 1996 - 1997, She separated from{ S 2nd in late 1990 \nreturned to Scotland to live with the children. Afler a reconciliation, the family moved back \nto London, but the marital relationship continued to be unstable.
