The full blood count was done and your haemoglobin is at a reasonable level of \n121 but one of the other blood tests called platelets is slightly high 504 and this suggests that there might be some \ninflammation in your bowel. : \nIn view of this T think it would be sensible for us to arrange for you 1o get a colonoscopy and given the blood in the stool \n- T will ask for this to be done urgently. I would appreciate it if you could attend for this test and we still await a new \npatient appointment at our \u00a2linic also. : \nIf you are still taking iron tablets you will need to stop these for
