Awaiting 6 minute walking test with cardiology \n| reviewed Mr Norwood in Dr Maclay\u2019s respiratory clinic on 17t April 2025. He reports exertional \nbreathlessness after walking less than 50 yards as well as associated chest pain. He was recently \nadmitted to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with similar symptoms and found to have a pneumoperitoneum \nand had a diagnostic laparotomy with wash out of peritoneal cavity and placement of pelvic drain. \nHis loss of appetite and weight loss is associated with this. | noted his weight has reduced to 52.9 \nkg compared to 59 kg in December 2024. He is easily nauseous and vomiting when eating a bigger \nmeal. \nHe currently lives at home with his step son who is helping with activities of daily living. He used to \nrun a workshop but finds he is now unable to do this. \nIn view of his previous lung function tests which show an obstructive picture of FEV1\/FVC 46%. He \ncontinues to smoke although has reduced this to 3 cigarettes per day. | strongly recommended he \nstop completely. He declined smoking cessation support. \nHe is currently taking a Trimbow inhaler. \nWe went over his CT scan with him. This shows the left upper lobe nedule which has been \nincreasing in size, waxing and waning over time. He has undergone a bronchoscopy in December \n2024 which did not reveal any evidence of malignant cells. Aspergillus PCR was negative however it \nhas been noted that his aspergillus serology has been elevated. \n| discussed him with Dr Maclay who advised a referral to the pulmonary infection clinic. | note that \nhe has undergone myocardial perfusion tests in January 2025. He has an appointment to see the \ncardiclogists in June 2025. \nIn clinic today he has had high blood pressure readings at home and | advised him to discuss this his \nGP. \nThank you very much
