He had no infective symptoms in terms of \ncough or fever but he did let my colleague know that he had recently been treated for a chest infection \nin primary care with oral antibictics. He had a normal set of blocd tests, clear troponins and a chest x- \nray at the time which was thought to show nil acute. \nThe subsequent report of this chest x-ray says that \u201ccomparing to fairly recent imaging there is a streaky \noblique band of opacity in the left mid zone, radiating from the hilum which is likely inflammatory\/infection \nin context.\u201d \n| thought it pertinent to let you know this and given he has had a recent course of antibiotics and had no \ninfective symptoms on his presentation to the Emergency Department, | don't think he needs any more \nspecific treatment, however | would be grateful if you would be kind enough to consider organising a \nrepeat CXR film in 4-6 weeks to check resolution of this radiographic change. \nMany thanks for dealing
