An ECG showed inferolateral \nST elevation however Mr Norwood had no chest pain and had a negative troponin. He was discussed with the cardiology \nteam who were not concerned about the prospect of ACS or myocarditis, and felt that his presentation was in keeping with \nheart failure. He had a Doppler ultrasound of his left lower limb which showed no DVT. \nMr Norwood was diuresed adequately and his ankle swelling improved. An echo showed normal LV and RV function, with \nmild MR. During his admission, he had a CT CAP due to weight loss. This showed a new focus of consolidation in the right \nupper lobe. He was treated with a course of amoxicillin and will be followed up with an interval CT as an outpatient. \nMr Norwood remained breathless during his admission, though was able to mobilise around the ward. He reported feeling \nthat his breathlessness is episodic and coincides with a feeling of panicking or anxiety. He has been advised to trial 0.5mg \noral lorazepam for these episodes and will be followed up by the community respiratory team.
